Evaluation Summative evaluations completed at the end of several topics/each unit of study will be worth 70% of the final mark. These include a variety of different evaluation methods and strategies (tests, assignments, GIS activities, presentations, research assignments, and/or essays)
The
final mark for this course will be determined based upon an accumulation of
marks from unit summative activities and from a final summative evaluation Term Work: [Assignments, tests, essays,
etc.] 70% Final Summative Evaluation: [Exam] 30% Please note that all tests,
assignments, etc. will be graded according to one or more of the following
categories: Knowledge, Thinking & Inquiry, Application and Communications. |
